    It was very quiet. Weekday lunchtime. Our server was efficient, funny, informative and overall made the experience great. The food was delicious, served hot and promptly. I would recommend this spit and will return again.

    Dinner was excellent as usual. The steak in the Grilled Steak Salad was cooked to perfection but the meat itself was very gritty; hard to cut with even a steak knife and hard to chew. :(

    This was our second time back, both times we were a party of eight. Each visit our servers were excellent, and very attentive and accommodating to our group. Generally, food was very good in one instance we were not happy with one of our dishes (the poutine) and the server was quite happy to bring something else and removed it from our bill. Overall we were pleased with our visit, and would recommend if you are looking for a casual place to eat in St. Jacobs.
