I had a fantastic experience at Polanka Restaurant in Mövenpick Karpacz. The atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, the service was excellent, and the food was simply outstanding—beautifully presented and full of flavor. A must-visit in Karpacz!

The old adage is that "you never find a good restaurant within a hotel," but not the one inside the Monopol Hotel in Wroclaw, Poland! Nearing the end of a business trip, my wife and I ate at the hotel's 6th-floor location and had a fabulous meal served by a thoroughly attentive waitstaff member. The ability to have a waitstaff member fluent in English was a big contributor to our dining selections and the overall dining experience. The evening dinner began with the uncorking of an excellent 2021 bottle of Chardonnay and an appetizer tray of grilled green asparagus with aioli sauce, bread & breadsticks. The main courses were Chargrilled rib eye for me and Dover Sole with beurre blanc sauce for my wife. Both offerings were accompanied by dauphine potatoes and mixed green salads. Our waiter seemed focused on our needs and made positive suggestions to assist our proper selections for the meal. Although my wife demurred, for dessert, I had the pavlova with strawberries and lemon curd. What a delightful and delicious surprise it was! We enjoyed an excellent meal and attentive service and are happy to recommend the restaurant at the Monopol Hotel.
