When you walk through the shadowed glass doors of Talulla's, an instant transformation begins to occur. Your mind and body begin to relax. Your ears pick up on the eclectic mix of music. Your eyes wonder around the walls, decorated in Turkish rugs; then the ceilings, scattered with warm, unique lighting pieces; then the floors... the dark, hardwood floors; and finally, across the plush seating areas, disguised by cushions and pillows and fabric leisurely draped around the frames.

Since 1995, we have been proudly serving the locals, students and visitors to Chapel Hill. A lot has changed in both our town and the craft beer industry since we opened our doors as the culmination of a business school plan I wrote my senior year at UNC. Today, we celebrate our North Carolina roots with a made-from-scratch menu focused on Carolina foods in a newly renovated building.     We honeslty went there for a „Döner Kebap“ we know from Germany. Understandable that it was not, but we were on high hopes. Eventhough it wasn’t it was still very delicious. From the house bread with oil sauce … to türkisch soda and dishes with lamb. 🫶🏻 it was delicious!!!!!!!! We drove 1:22 hr to eat here and we do not regret it!

    Tandem is a wonderful place to eat. We had the salmon and the brussels/beet salad, and both were delicious. It was quiet, making it easy to talk, and the service was perfect in every way. The parking lot makes it especially convenient. Highly recommended!

    My favorite restaurant in the triangle. Highly recommend bringing more people so you can try everything on the menu. Highly recommend the meatballs and bbq shrimp, both menu mainstays, or anything on the updates daily menu. You can’t go wrong!
