Lovely warm atmosphere and our waitress Ellie was just lovely. Really friendly and attentive. The food was great - really hot, and such a great choice of many different options as well as the classics. Just loved my birthday treat.

Food was lovely, good size portions. Service was great. Only minor point it was very quiet so was lacking a little ambience.

The food was generally OK however my 'toast' with my pate was just literally a bit of bread that had been shown the chargrill for about a minute and no part was crisp. The rest of the food was great the service however was slooooow, drinks took ages to arrive, the rest of the food arrived in a reasonable time but clearing took a while and took us about 15 mins to pay the bill after it had arrived.

Free parking on site, a very nice hotel, came for afternoon tea - it's a good price of £21.50pp, it was very good.
