In the heart of downtown Healdsburg, one of the country’s most accomplished chefs Kyle Connaughton, along with farmer and wife Katina Connaughton, host guests at SingleThread Farm-Restaurant-Inn, a 55-seat fine dining restaurant with five exclusive suites above the restaurant. The farm, located on 24 acres in the historic Dry Creek Valley, supplies vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers and honey, to their restaurant. Guests of the restaurant are treated to a 10-course tasting menu, showcasing the seasonal bounty from the couple’s farm. I had an excellent experience at this place! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly polite, organized, and attentive to every detail. Their efficiency and friendliness really stood out. The food was absolutely incredible—high quality, generous portions, and simply delicious. No words can truly do it justice, so I highly recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself.

Our server appeared quite distracted, and the timing of our food and drinks felt disjointed, especially considering the price point of the restaurant. He spent a noticeable amount of time by the kitchen and didn’t engage with us meaningfully, even though we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. We rallied and made the most of it but the service was disappointing.
