The latter may evoke a sense of familiarity among weekenders visiting from Melbourne, but it’s also a solid hint at the pedigree behind this place.The Only Hospitality Group (Bentwood, Stanley and Hotel Collingwood) took over and refreshed the site at the end of 2021, retaining the textured curves and decorative fluting on the building’s historic facade.Inside is bright and airy with polished concrete and soft timbers throughout. The space seats 120 comfortably between two expansive dining rooms, with curb-side picnic tables shaded by beach umbrellas setting the scene outside.

The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-20 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. From arrival we were greeted by the owner and seated at our table. Extremely friendly waiter person introduced herself and talked us through the menu. We did the set menu and can thoroughly recommend it. It gave us a really broad experience of the whole menu. The tacos are amazing. The lamb ribs were amazing. Could not fault any of the courses we ate - fantastic cocktails to enjoy with the meal.

7 different meals and starters were ordered. the food came quickly and was beautifully cooked, flavours great and even the pizza was fantastic. great base and toppings, (recommend the Gambino). THE BURGERS WERE GREAT. THE Sundowner pale Ale was on par with a Balter. Every offering was very good. they were extremely busy but service kept up and the staff were all happy. will I return again? absolutely. would I recommend it? absolutely.

Must visit this beautiful gem!!! The food was a highlight for us!!! Every meal not only looked good, but exceeded expectations in terms of taste. Great value for money. Service was good. Must try the chocolate Brownie!!! Gooey on the inside, melt in your mouth!!!
