After opening in March of 1996, La Scala has transformed itself and undergone many changes over the years! La Scala now features a mix of local and seasonal cuisine with traditional familial influences. These influences begin on the Isle of Capri and journey to all her Mediterranean neighbors.     Overall the dining experience was 5 stars. The waitstaff is top notch and we enjoyed our time. I did not enjoy my meal as much as I wanted too. It was very salty and in my opinion had too much oil. I suspect that this is not the norm as many people in my life rave about this place. I will try again in the future to see if it was just an off meal.

    Always enjoy our meals at La Scala. Rarely disappointed in anything, and often truly surprised by one or two dishes. Service is always quite friendly, and enough. The off menu specials are the treasures here. And they make one of the best whole fish I’ve had outside of the Mediterranean.

    The restaurant was not busy, thus no waiting to be seated. We were a party of five. We had a lovely server, Lynn. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The kitchen was slightly slow with their preparation. Overall, it was a good experience and enjoyable for our family.

    Had a lovely dinner on a Sunday evening in Rome. Seared snapper entree, off menu, was excellent. Aviel took good care of us.
