In Birdsboro-Gibraltar, Christine's Creekside Inn has a long and interesting history. What is now the restaurant's building was known at various times for being a grist mill, a knitting mill, a speakeasy and a fine dining establishment. Open for lunch and dinner, Christine's Creekside Inn also serves private groups such as wedding receptions, reunions, holiday parties and other special occasions. Christine's Creekside Inn has separate menus for the dining hall and pub. The dining menu offers Northern Italian fare, steaks and seafood with chef specialties like the veal de la casa or chicken ala Christine. The pub menu offers burgers and sandwiches and a limited number of entrees such as spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo and 6-oz. pub filet.

White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. Food was excellent, and our server was really good and I was thrilled that they didn’t give us a hard time about having two separate checks for our table. That was an issue in the past and one thing that was making us hesitant to return, but all was good. It’s a fun place to have a meal and a drink and enjoy company of friends and family

Met up with friends for holiday cheers. The Smoked Old Fashion was devine. Our friends enjoyed various cocktails and all were met with 5-star ratings. I had the Salmon Wellington and it *very* good. I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was perfect for quiet conversation and the old stone walls created a warm, cozy aesthetic on what turned out to be a very cold day!

If only we lived closer, we would definitely go more often… food was excellent. For fans of Panna Cotta, an absolute must.
