Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining. Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed. Beech will try and accommodate your request if there is seating available at the time of your reservation.In case of inclement weather, Beech will make every effort to accommodate reservations and move the reservation inside, however such accommodations cannot be guaranteed based on Beech's inside capacity. Beautiful place to have a meal, views to Newport are spectacular. Have been a few times, and the food and service are always terrific. The patio area is a blast when the weather is warm, live music, etc. if you're not there for the view/location, you may find it on the pricy side.. but a good value for the location IMO

We had a delicious and quiet meal in the back dining room with the high top tables. Our server was friendly and attentive. We followed the entree with a great piece of cheesecake and freshly brewed decaf coffee. We will come here again!

This was the cutest cottage and tea experience. We came in to Newport for a holiday trip and came across Sweet Marie’s as a fun idea. We lucked out in getting reservations. Hope we can visit again and experience at the new location!
