The renovation honors the historic character of the Warrenton Train Depot, resulting in a warm, comfortable environment for casual meetings with friends, or special occasions and intimate family meals. The warm, elegant Garden Room provides seating for intimate meals, while the Tavern Room features a more casual dining experience in luxurious surroundings. A rotating selection of craft beers is available on tap, and the wine service is regularly expanded. The menu follows a Southern-fried meat-and-three concept, meaning diners order a meat, plus three sides. Those will include Ruthie’s mac and cheese, of course, but also white-soy-braised greens, stewed chickpeas and smoked cauliflower with a spicy soy glaze. “We’re going to be changing it a lot based on seasonality,” Hill says of the menu. “ Every vegetable has got to be fantastic because it has to stand on its own.” One thing that will help that: Hill is already growing all of the restaurant’s own herbs at his South Arlington community garden plot.

    The service was very attentive and food quality was supremely delicious. A steak ideally should be tasty, tender, and right temperature! They were 3 out of 3 on all Ts, and their house dry rub was delightful flavorful touch to the steaks.

    Forked on Main is a great destination restaurant in a quaint country town. The food is fantastic and the service is great. The menu has something for everyone. Try their specialty cocktails. They do an Old Fashioned that is best I have ever had.

    Claire's never disappoints! From the greeters to Laurie, our always fabulous server, everyone is very warm and makes customers feel like old friends. the food of course is the star and is star worthy. Naturally, one cannot go to Claire's without starting the everning with the She Crab Soup - it rivals the offerings in Charleston!. We both had the Rockfish special - truly special. And the butternut squash puree was something new and a great accompanyment. Because it's Valentines dinner, we splurged on our calorie budget and had desert - Creme Brulee and Mixed Berry cobler. What a great finish. We always appreciate Claires and continue to recommend it to our friends.

    Valentine's Day Tasting Menu Event was Magnificent. Chef Zack Andrews and his staff have outdone themselves again in 2025 with this special six-course meal. The wine pairings sparkle as Spoon & Spindle sets a romantic scene for their guests.
