The restaurant boast some wonderful bespoke ironwork along with a vintage industrial feel . This restaurant offers a modern ambiance an ideal place to catch up with family and friends and enjoy our mouthwatering local dishes. The InnThe Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Being right on the North Lancashire and South Cumbria border, the Longlands Inn is surrounded by farmers offering some great local specialties. Absolutely delicious. Great presentation. A bit more than we would usually pay but it was hubby's 60th. I would strongly recommend this restaurant in the heart of York. Very pretty setting. 5 🌟

We had the Sunday roast. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely return when I’m in the area.

A very comfortable restaurant. It has character in all aspects and charm which is lacking in so many restaurants. I've given 5 stars in all areas so there's not much to say. I was with a party who had all been before. It's one I wish to return to. It's a place you know will be reliable and deliver every time you go.

Great venue and great restaurant. Upon arrival the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Had a drink in the bar area first and were given menus but we were not rushed at all. The food was really good, both starters and both mains could not be faulted with my Wife describing the market fish main course the best fish dish she’s ever had ! We both feel the restaurant could have been a little warmer but this would not put us off returning.
