The Krebs is an historic restaurant founded in 1899 by Fred and Cora Krebs. The restaurant has been a popular landmark in Skaneateles for over a century, serving presidents, dignitaries and celebrities. The Krebs was re-opened after undergoing a complete renovation while carefully preserving the history and ambiance that visitors have grown accustomed to. The restaurant is a farm to table concept that utilizes the freshest hand selected local ingredients and the highest quality meats and seafood.     1833 bar and restaurant in the Aurora Inn. We had the NY Strip and Halibut entrees. Excellent. Their fries are fantastic. Our dessert was a cranberry/ blueberry crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Blew us away! Service was impeccable!! We will be back!

    Visited on Saturday, December 7 at 7:15. Promptly greeted and seated by the hostess. She came by a few minutes later, took our drink order and let us know our waiter would be with us soon to take our order and deliver our drinks. Other tables were waiting for a long time for the same waiter who appeared frazzled. We didn’t get our drinks for over 15 minutes and it took him even longer to take our food order. Once we ordered, the food came out quickly and was delicious. We had pasta florentine, Cajun chicken, and the crème brûlée cheesecake, amazing dessert! A hostess swung by a couple times to check in, she was fabulous! Wish I knew her name. Overall would recommend and return.
