The Hoffman House restaurant, in the scenic Hudson Valley, opened for business in June of 1977. The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Today the Hoffman House serves a continental fare, featuring steaks, fresh seafood, pasta specialties and homemade artisan desserts.     Our family went for a birthday dinner celebration. Everything was fabulous! One of the best meals we’ve had. Waiter was fabulous along with everything else. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

    As close to perfect a dining experience as can be had. We’re so fortunate to have a restaurant of this quality 100 miles north of NYC. Intimate. Warm and friendly. High food quality. Unpretentious. Thank you so much for a beautiful Christmas Eve dining experience.

    Good place for lunch during the holidays. Town is very festive and Beekman Arms is right in the middle of town. Food and service were great. The tavern is well decorated and very historic.

    The view is outstanding and the best of the Hudson Valley. Enjoy the river and wide open space under the shelter with heaters and fireplaces to keep it cozy. The Shakshuka eggs were over cooked but the tomato sauce was tasty and on point. Eggs Benedict was the winner at our table with the wood fired pizza coming in second place.
