Founded in 2014 in Chicago by cousins Jared Rouben (Brewmaster) and Jeremy Cohn (CEO), Moody Tongue is built on the philosophy of culinary brewing, appealing to those with a discerning palate or, as Rouben describes, a "moody tongue." Utilizing his extensive culinary background and brewing education, Rouben approaches brewing with a chef's mindset.     This was my first time dining here and it was amazing. I ordered the short rib and it was so tender, you could cut through it with a fork. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely delicious. The BEST Mac I’ve had from any restaurant hands down!! Tastes like what your grandma would make for Thanksgiving dinner. The cornbread was so moist and super delicious. I started to order more lol. My friend and I shared the red velvet cake because we were too full to get one to ourselves and it was the perfect balance. Not too sweet at all which was great!! I will definitely be back!

    I had a wonderful experience. I had the jerk Cornish hen with greens and yams. My friend had lobster Mac and cheese. We both thought food was good. All the staff were friendly and inviting. I would come back.

    I had such a lovely time at brunch with my friends. The food was good and the bottomless mimosas were indeed bottomless. The ambiance was enjoyable and the staff were very nice and attentive
