We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. Our 1st Sunday lunch and certainly will not be our last! Really friendly welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and fab food. Our pooch loved it too!

I've been to the Ffolkes a few times and love it. It was however the first time for my daughters and grandchildren, and they loved it. They loved the food, service, and general feel of the place. It was an experience they look forward to doing again.

Honestly, the only fault I can find is it's not closer to my house. Absolutely superb food and service, my wife and I were celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty. We had the seafood platter for two and a sweet each which was more than enough. Cannot fault anything,a huge thanks to all involved, you made our evening very special.
