We had a great meal and a great time. Staff was super friendly even short handed and during the Saturday evening rush.

We’ve been here several times. Food was good, my wife’s Mediterranean salad was incredible (ask for bread). I enjoyed my burger. We went when they had a show at the DCU Center so it was pretty busy and food took a quite a while. If you go and there’s a show, order early! We will be back next time we are in town. 

This was not my first visit to Publick House, and it won't be my last. This is a charming venue that is suitable for a one or two night getaway with rooms at a decent price, and two dining rooms that offer a cozy experience. Portion sizes are good and there is a bakery as well with several dessert selections.

Went to celebrate my husband birthday. Really was surprised the way staff celebrated and gave dessert. Food is really good. And cocktails are also very good. Will definitely go again.

Best clam chowder in central mass… awesome food and service
