At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. The Daffodil is a Michelin-awarded food-led country pub, with high quality Shepherd's Hut accommodation (bookable directly via The Daffodil website and via Air B&B) in the pretty rural village of Penrhiwllan. Our first time visiting Ty Glo and it was really good! Excellent service, tasty food and beautifully decorated restaurant. Love that it is dog friendly too. Thank you for a lovely evening!

It felt very festive, with the Christmas tree, decorations, and lovely log fire. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, I shared sticky beef bao buns and chicken flatbreads for starter, then I had lamb tagliatelle, no room for dessert. The flavours were excellent.

We went for a Sunday lunch today and the food was outstanding. My daughter is gluten intolerant and was so pleased she could order the same roast and it also had a GF Yorkshire pudding. The staff were all friendly and very attentive . We can honestly say the BEST roast dinner

Food outstanding and different. Customer service very efficient & friendly just right. It was relatively quiet but the weather was atrocious. They opened a door for us to get out of the rain quicker than using another door so very attentive. Fabulous choice of drinks & the cocktails were delicious. Perfect for a special occasion.

The food was outstanding. The menu had a great selection and the specials were very good too. It was the nicest meal we have had for a while. We would particularly recommend the scallops, they were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and during the light the restaurant has stunning views across the estuary.
