Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. We celebrated our anniversary here. The extra touches the staff did for us was noticed immediately. Several staff stopped to wish us happy anniversary. There was a hand written card at our table thanking us for celebrating there. Our waiter was extremely attentive and we never had to wait or ask for something since he was on top of everything from topping off our water to bringing the check. The food was fantastic and worth every dollar.

We had a great experience at Marche. I had coq au vin which was delicious and tender. The service was outstanding and the timing perfect. Our server was very professional. It was expensive but I expected that. I’m glad we celebrated our anniversary here.

While a limited menu my party had the scallops and they were great. Service was awesome and nice dining area. Would definitely recommend to others
