Chapter One is an award-winning Modern European restaurant with 3 AA Rosettes in Orpington, Kent. Following a major refurbishment in early 2019, Chapter One has relaunched with a more modern approach, tempting guests with greater variety and quality.Under the direction of acclaimed chef Andrew McLeish, modern European cooking is available in two formats. In the Restaurant, sophisticated seasonal dishes are served in a refined setting with a weekly changing 3-course Lunch Menu du Jour, a seasonally-inspired 7-course Tasting Menu and an a la carte option.     Well we had a great lunch as we always do. Seniors 3 course plus drinks etc for 6 of us. Meal was delicious and the staff very friendly and nice. The table we asked for was just right. Lovely surroundings. We’ll be back soon

    Excellent service from the staff, friendly and cheerful. The food was wonderful and dessert was to die for. Would recommend a Sunday lunch there.

    Warm welcome, delicious food served in a beautiful setting. Good range of choices for all dietary requirements. No rush to leave the table so plenty of time to chat. Cheeky little complementary limoncello served with the bill too! Would highly recommend a visit.

    "I had an exceptional dining experience at A-Mano Restaurant in Orpington! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The menu features a wonderful selection of dishes, and the handmade pasta was a standout. I also loved the risotto absolutely delicious! And the Halloween party with live DJ was bang on!!!! Don’t skip dessert; the panna cotta was the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for quality food and great service!❤️
