The Sitdown Café is a unique sushi bar and restaurant. The inside of the little bistro is cozy and comfortable, reflecting all of the neighborhood charm of a local diner. The staff here is friendly and helpful, always ready to offer a recommendationnn or answer any questions guests might have. The Sitdown Café offers a wide variety of dishes. The menu is broken up into appetizers, soups, salads, sushi, sandwiches and pizza. This kind of variety is unique, as most restaurants do not offer both sushi and pizza. Founded in 2014 in Chicago by cousins Jared Rouben (Brewmaster) and Jeremy Cohn (CEO), Moody Tongue is built on the philosophy of culinary brewing, appealing to those with a discerning palate or, as Rouben describes, a "moody tongue."     Great addition to the Hyde Park area. I went with a group of friends and we all enjoyed the food, drinks, and ambiance. We ordered the entire menu and enjoyed each bite. Catina Rosa’s primarily focus are their cocktails. Each drink we ordered was quite tasty. The food(l (although small bites) was very good. We really enjoyed the guacamole, Barbacoa de borrego, and the Empanadas. Honestly, everything we ordered was good. Also, special shout out to our server Steven. He was really nice and helpful. If you’re wavering on rather or not you should give them a try…please do. I think you will enjoy yourself.

    From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were special and the entire restaurant staff was awaiting our arrival. From the owner to the server and even the mixologist behind the bar, made our experience magical and unforgettable. The was not our first visit, just one of the best! The food was delicious and the dessert was sinfully tasty. Thank you Chemistry for giving my wife an amazing birthday celebration!!

    Service was good this time. They need consistency. Never know what you’re going to get. Food was very good. Cornbread needs work and the short ribs were less than lukewarm warm. Probably sitting waiting on fried chicken as that was piping hot.
