The focus is on fish but the menu transcends just fish, leaving no stone unturned in the never ending quest for flavour Split between two rooms, the kitchen and bar shared by customers as they perch on bar stools and enjoy dinner and a show. The back room - lower lighting, lower seating, a slight calm compared to the front room. Works of art from friends of the restaurant adorn the walls and floors

A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Our dining room has limited space and we don’t offer high chairs, so please let us know in advance if you're bringing a pram or need to adjust your booking size.Here's when we're open, so you can find what you're looking for:Weekdays: Bar 3-11pmKitchen 6-10pmWeekends: Bar 12-11pm (10pm Sunday’s)Kitchen 1-5pmKitchen is closed on Men’s Arsenal home games.

Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table. Parties of six and larger, kindly contact the restaurant directly for reservations. These larger groups will be offered the shared feasting menu only and a deposit of £10 per head needs to be taken to confirm the booking, which will be deducted from your bill.

    Not our first time going and won’t be our last, everything was incredible service, food, cider!! Absolute 10/10, had the best chocolate tart of my life thanks to the brilliant Rosie. Thank you so much for looking after us!

    Love this place. The ambience, service and food are all incredible and unique. However there is a real lack of meat/dairy free options. They’ve happy to accommodate and usually there are some more veg focused dishes but on last visit there were none beyond a starter salad. Would be good to balance the menu a bit more with 1 or 2 veggie dishes.

    The food was amazing, couldn’t fault it, and the wine was great. Service was brilliant too, the only snag for us was the noise, given it’s a small place voices naturally carry so the music could do with being a bit quieter to make it easier to hear each other
