John is from Mitchelstown originally and studied Hotel & Catering Management in third level. Having worked in Hotels, Bars and Restaurants throughout Cork and Limerick for many years john decided to take the plunge and open his own Restaurant in his home town.The Restaurant has gone from strength to strength since opening always offering something new and fresh to the locality. I recently visited Mimosa, and it was an excellent experience overall. The food was exceptional, with every dish crafted to perfection and full of flavor. The ambience was relaxed and inviting, striking a perfect balance between comfort and style. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The only small downside was the background music, which was slightly louder than ideal and made conversations a bit tricky at times. Still, the fantastic food and laid-back vibe more than made up for it. I’d definitely recommend it for a casual yet elevated dining experience.

Lovely early evening meal with friends. Evelyn our host was most welcoming and informative about the menu. Our vegetarians and Coeliac were well looked after and all the food was top notch. Good service

Had a lovely evening out with cocktails and tapas. Would definitely recommend the beef sliders snd nachos, we also had delicious patas bravas and the crispy chicken was nice but the hot sauce was very hot for us. Drinks were good and we were well minded throughout the night!
