The Elysian Cafe is a casual French-American restaurant with a large bar area, quiet back dining room and a large outdoor dining area. Located in Hoboken, NJ it is the oldest owned and operated bar in Hoboken. Beautiful 100 year old plaster ceilings span the entire inside dining area, giving a warm feeling for the dining experience. The outdoor dining cafe brings you right to the streets of Paris and are adorned in white flowers and shaded areas. The Elysian Cafe is a great place to grab a quick bite, meet up with old friends for a chatty afternoon or have a quiet dinner date.

For the past 28 years, Amanda's mission has always been about replenishing the soul through delicious contemporary cuisine and providing excellent service - all at a reasonable price.     The charcuterie platter just had 4 bread pieces, sad presentation! Cheeses were good, fig sauce good too.My friend was disappointed in the gelato- said it just tasted like ice cream, not gelato. But these are minor things and will be back again. Nice to have parking validated. Waitress was very accommodating.

    Came here for a first date and I was able to hear my date and the food, drinks, service, and ambiance were good. The steak sandwich and espresso martini were good and the prices were decent. They have a bogo entree night on Monday too! And the date went well!

    Really amazing food and service. Had the empanadas and chips for appetizers, and the seafood tagliatelle for dinner. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert is a must. I went to dinner with 8 others from work and we all enjoyed it. We will be coming to dinner again!

    Can't say enough great things about this restaurant. i wanted to give it 5 stars but that's tough to do living in Tri State Area. We went on. Sunday afternoon @ 430 so it was quiet. Ceasar was outstanding (very fresh) and shrimp carbonara was fantastic (and food came out hot) Servers were patient and extremely attentive The calamari was cooked perfectly as well (not to over fried) The desserts (chocolate soufflé) was delicious ! Loved the place would it really closer to 4 1/2 stars. Can't wait to go back... and BYOB w/ great wine glasses 🙌
