Whether you prefer informal or formal, dinner is based on fresh, sustainable local foods paired with local wines. Tapestry Lounge features signature cocktails, wine and beer along with small plates and an informal menu. The more formal Victorian dining room, Caroline’s, focuses on fresh Colorado foods such as elk and beef along with fresh, local produce prepared in the classic French tradition. The Winery Restaurant has been an icon among western Colorado restaurants for over 35 years. The restaurant makes its home in a 95 year old building that used to house a horse drawn fire station. A gas lamp lit, grapevine canopied alley frames this romantic location perfectly. The beautifully remodeled building contains flowered stain glass windows, barn wood and bricks.Steve Thoms acquired the restaurant in late June of 2004 after taking a couple of years off from his previous restaurant. His mission at he Winery is simple: Show the restaurant and its patrons the attention that they deserve. We had a ladies night to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was one of those dining experiences you don’t want to end. The staff, the food and oh my the “Palisade dessert “ was all amazing!! 10 out of 10 !! We can’t wait to return.
