Overall, we loved our experience at 1875. Our servers, Caden and Jayden, were wonderful! Caden told us about the history of the restaurant and then served us a shot of delicious homemade tomato juice. My husband really enjoyed the pork chops. They were juicy and flavorful. The blackberry sauce was the perfect accompaniment. My salmon with a delicious dill sauce was cooked perfectly (medium rare). Our side was roasted garlic potatoes and they tasted weird. I can’t describe the flavor but they tasted nothing like roasted garlic potatoes. It made me wish that I had gotten the Parmesan risotto. We would have fully enjoyed our evening if it wasn’t for the table of eight or 10 behind us. They were so loud and someone sometimes dropped the f bomb. I’m no prude, but they could have been a little nicer especially since they were in public. I didn’t even finish enjoying my after dinner cappuccino. We signed our ticket and left.

Really recommend this place. Eating here twice now and great food both times.

My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here last night. Not only was the food amazing, and in large portions (so you're definitely getting your money's worth), but this was the best service we have ever had. When we asked for to-go boxes for our leftovers, he actually boxed everything up for us, and got a separate container for each item so none of the food would mix, he did this without being asked. Important to note that when you order sides, they are not included in most of the meals and may seem expensive but each side comes with enough to honestly feed 4 people. We ordered 3 sides, shared all of them, and still had a lot leftover. The bread they bring you at the beginning of the meal is excellent, it comes with sea-salted butter and spreadable garlic cloves. We ordered crab cakes as an appetizer and it was possibly the best crab cakes we have had anywhere. He ordered the shrimp linguine, I ordered the seared salmon, and for sides we ordered asparagus, lobster mac and cheese, and truffle potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly! We also ordered a lemon drop martini and a pomegranate martini and they were both good but we both liked the lemon drop one more. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate torte. My only note here was that since it was cold and more like a pie than a cake, it should have come with a knife to cut it without mashing it since all of our plates and utensils had already been cleared from the table. We will definitely be back for date night again.

The service and good quality are always top notch! The restaurant is inside a very old, high ceiling, building that can be somewhat loud if there are larger crowds. The goat cheese balls appetizer is a must try!

The food was EXECELLENT, but the service was lacking. The person seating us was confused and probably new and untrained. The waitress was away for long periods of time that extended our stay. The food quality would bring us back.
