Leonard Wilfred Davies, born 19 December 1906, started a butcher's dynasty now four generations old. His butchers typical cheeky sense of humour now lives on through his grandchildren along with his knowledge of butchery.In 1997 Leonard’s grandson Richard opened The Station Inn, which quickly generated a great reputation for quality steak. Lovely Boxing Day afternoon meal. Staff were very smart , efficient and polite. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere.

An excellent Christmas day menu, lovely food and good service. I attended with my 93 year old mum and disabled brother, who both told me they really enjoyed their experience. We have used the restaurant several times before, usually for larger family get togethers. Always good and we will continue to use. Recommended for any occasion.

Great good and atmosphere. One small gripe,i love dogs, have 3 of our own,and dog friendly pubs I just don't want dogs around when I am eating.
