In the 20th century times were simpler, dining out was reasonable, the service was excellent and cooking was an art. My staff and I have tried to capture that ambiance of simple elegance. Our traditional values extend even further: There are no heat lamps or microwaves in our kitchen. Skyviews Restaurant is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant designed and operated to provide a hospitality laboratory experience for up to 50 students each week. While you are enjoying an excellent meal in the lovely surroundings, students are developing skills and applying knowledge. Overall a very nice first visit. Salads are unique and quite tasty. Shrimp and grits were excellent. Glazed salmon with shrimp was delicious. The apple torte was good, but was not the star of the show.

The food was great, the service was excellent and I had a very nice time. By the end of my meal (approx 6:30 PM) it was maybe a bit too noisy for me, but that did not color my opinion of the place.

Food was delicious! The hummus is so flavorful! Doesn't taste so typical. The pork chop was cooked to leave a faint pink, very, very moist and a delicious crust. Veggies were also well pan roasted with good color and flavor.
