Cobbler's Bar is one of Westport’s best traditional pubs offering customers fabulous food from its dedicated kitchen, a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. My wife and I enjoyed an absolute incredibly well cooked and presented dishes my meal started with the chicken lier pate o e of my go to starters and it was exceptional my wife who doesn't eat pate had a taste and I nearly had to defend it for my life lol.the main course was a wild mushroom and chicken penne in a cream parmesan sauce ,not a lover of parmesan which I informed the server of and was relayed to chef which h resulted in a culinary delight and my wife had stirred vegetables with noodles which she said was one of her best meals ever ,and as I'm chef I was jealous of the praise staff where ex Ellen will go again if I return to westport

Absolutely fabulous food and service was amazing.. staff very friendly and accommodating 🤩 definitely recommend the Korean chicken dish (if u like hot food) so tasty
