Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. Eddie Merlot's was x amazing. Every last thing we ordered was perfect. Service was spot on. We have been fortunate enough to eat at some amazing steakhouses all over the United States and Eddie Merlots can compete or beat any of them. It was amazing!! I had the BourbonRibeye and it was out of this world!!

We had an amazing experience. We were outside at one of the greenhouses. It was toasty, and the food was great and came out fast. The people who were our servers were very attentive.

Definitely a one of a kind dining experience. The cavern’s atmosphere was quiet and intimate. The food was delicious. We truly enjoyed our evening.

The food was great! We had a long wait as they had a huge party prior to our arrival but our server was awesome. It was my husband's birthday so because of the wait they up graded a desert for him!!
