When the original Bascom came to Florida at the turn of the last century to help Henry Flagler build the Key West Railroad, he brought with him his love for thick cut chops and juicy steaks. We had a family of six with a reservation service was attentive but a little slow paced. Since it was Christmas Eve the pace worked for us. Food was good. A couple the meals weee excellent and the remainder above average. Was a good experience and appreciate BJ’s accommodating us.

Our meal was delicious and well timed. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our server Kim was very attentive and suggested just the right menu item. She always. makes the experience more enjoyable as well as ensures everything is to our liking.

Outstanding menu selections and variety to choose from. The blackened grouper sandwich was my dinner choice and I was not disappointed. It was large, tasty and just the right amount of spicy sauce. Along with the delicious menu choices and specialty drinks, the service was also timely, informative and courteous.

The food was delicious! We have been to many restaurants like this, and this will be one of our favorites! And you would never know it where it’s tucked away, but it certainly is a hidden gem!
