Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Combining amazing, wild, sustainable ingredients from land and sea into sumptuous creations that form really memorable eating experiences. We focus on British ingredients, as local to Chester. Our venison, always a hugely popular part of our menus, is harvested from herds on estates that focus on improving biodiversity and deer health – a process we call Farming the Wild.

The staff were absolutely amazing, polite, conversational and welcoming. The plant burger was the best burger I have ever had and Szechuan chips were the best I have ever had too. Lovely restaurant and experience that made mine and my wife’s visit to Chester an amazing finish. Please stay true to being polite, interested and valuing your customers. Amazing thank you and have a lovely Christmas.

Good pub grub. Service was slow but ok. Table needed a good clean, felt sticky. Otherwise, good value for money, fairly busy. I would recommend booking if you want to eat.
