Mama Cuca would always joke about how she should open a restaurant because she spent most of her days cooking anyway. So, we did it for her. A decade ago, we opened Mama Cuca's restaurant in her honor; as a celebration of all the warmth that she brought to our hearts, the smile that welcomed us, and the food that brought us comfort.
