The Hoffman House restaurant, in the scenic Hudson Valley, opened for business in June of 1977. The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Today the Hoffman House serves a continental fare, featuring steaks, fresh seafood, pasta specialties and homemade artisan desserts. I had New Year’s Day brunch here with my mom and sisters. It is such a cool setting. So cozy and chic. The staff were so friendly and service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back for a drink at the bar!

The view is outstanding and the best of the Hudson Valley. Enjoy the river and wide open space under the shelter with heaters and fireplaces to keep it cozy. The Shakshuka eggs were over cooked but the tomato sauce was tasty and on point. Eggs Benedict was the winner at our table with the wood fired pizza coming in second place.
