Aline was created from a desire to share my family’s food traditions. My love for Lebanese food comes from my mother, Aline. A Passionate home cook, famous for gathering her friends and family around her long table placed in the heart of a bucolic garden we call “Le Jardin d’Aline”. Meals have always been a way for her to teach my sisters and I about our Lebanese heritage. In summer we often enjoyed “Siyadiyeh”, a freshly caught sea bass served with a fisherman’s risotto native to Tyre, my mother’s hometown and in winter we would all gather in the kitchen eagerly waiting for the slow cooked lamb for her famous “Fatteh”. Our dishes are a modern take on everyday Lebanese comfort food served in a cozy thirty seat restaurant in Mayfair .     Adoro questo ristorante a Mayfair, dove trovi i migliori dim sum di sempre. L’ambiente è molto piacevole, cool, bella musica e bella gente. Il cibo è delizioso: oltre ai meravigliosi dum sum anche insalata di crispy duck e tanti altri piatti. Dolci sopra la media. Ottimo vino con ampia scelta al calice. Servizio veloce, con camerieri super gentili ed efficienti. Conto elevato ma in linea con quanto offerto. Un must a Londra per me.

    Siamo arrivati un po’ in anticipo sull’orario previsto e ci hanno fatto sedere ugualmente. Il cibo è molto buono e il personale è molto simpatico e disponibile. La ragazza che ci ha accompagnato al tavolo è stata veramente simpatica ed estremamente gentile. Ogni tanto veniva al nostro tavolo e si premurava che tutto andasse bene. Sicuramente, quando torneremo a Londra, ci riandremo molto volentieri.
