While you may not realize it, you have chosen to dine in a Texas Tech University classroom! Skyviews Restaurant is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant designed and operated to provide a hospitality laboratory experience for up to 50 students each week. While you are enjoying an excellent meal in the lovely surroundings, students are developing skills and applying knowledge. Every day is a learning experience for our students, and we welcome comments and suggestions as we strive to improve your dining experience. We greatly appreciate your patronage. Please note that reservations are limited due to the nature of our restaurant. Dinner reservations fill up quickly and will close 24 hours prior to dinner. Excellent job with having roses and chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s dinner with 6 girls. The table was decorated beautifully, the food was excellent and the service was great as always! Loved it!

Every aspect of the dining experience was spot on, which is especially impressive considering it was Valentine night and the restaurant was packed. Service and food were above average, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the exceptional meal we enjoyed. Double Nickel is a jewel in Lubbock’s crown!

Our experience at Claraboya was superb. The greeting at entry and by the wait staff was friendly and genuine. Drinks and food was delivered in a timely manner and all were extremely good. From the first bite, we both agreed...."we are coming back here!"

Food was delicious! The hummus is so flavorful! Doesn't taste so typical. The pork chop was cooked to leave a faint pink, very, very moist and a delicious crust. Veggies were also well pan roasted with good color and flavor.
