It's a bit surreal to find a place this good in Pagosa Springs. My wife and I agreed it was easily one of the best restaurant meals we've ever had. The attention to ingredients, textures, temperatures, presentation, and of course, taste -- all exceptional!

The Roost has rapidly become our favorite dining experience in Durango. Great location,cozy and always friendly with delicious food. Starting with their delicious crab cake special as shared appetizer, I had the haddock and chips special. Fish was light, delicate and accompanied by thin crisp fries, cole slaw and tartar sauce. My husband had his favorite prime rib. His dirty martini was as murky as he loves. Our waiter was friendly but professional and all the staff there appears to get along well and work well together as a team. The Roost is a true gem.

Everything is GREAT about this restaurant. It’s very consistent, the only complaint I have is they are now implementing a wristband to order alcohol. Not happy about that. The restaurant could easily check ID and allow patrons to drink while they eat.

Always the freshest sushi with a southwest flair. The best in town.
