We are a independent family owned and run restaurant. Inspired by our travels to see relations in Florida and Texas, we have established a menu that has something for everyone.     Been here so many times now and never have we received bad service or bad quality. It’s such a reasonable priced pub and the carvery is a must ! Plus if you are hungry after that get the home made sticky toffee pudding it’s just beautiful!

    Haggis scotch eggs were superb. We both had hanging kebabs lamb & chicken they were both cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Butterscotch bread & butter pudding!!

    We ordered from the Christmas lunch menu. Two of us are vegetarian and one is vegan, unusually there were plenty options. For the nut roast you get to choose from the carvery veg and it's all clearly labelled. Veggie gravy, roasties, stuffing and loads of other options were available. Deserts were good too, trillionaires tart is vegan and looked delicious. Overall, one of the best veggie Christmas lunches we've had in the area for a while, £22.50 for 2 courses is good value. First time we've been here in years and will definitely return.
