Elizabeth and I were very excited to open our restaurant in Downtown Stuart. After years of visiting our parents our hearts led us back here each time we considered a different location. Our son Taylor (our Executive Chef) and I, both have a culinary education and all three of us are extremely passionate about quality food,drinks and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoy taking great care of our guests. “the Gafford” is named after my grandparents who taught us how to enjoy life, have fun and laugh (especially at ourselves). My grandfather was in the Air Force and hospitality business all of his life and taught me so much about business, cooking and hospitality. I can remember when I was young visiting my grandparents on their farm. My grandfather used to teach me how to grill. My favorite dish to cook together was a giant Ribeye steak. On our menu, that is our signature item and we call it “the Gafford.” Welcome to the Gafford where casual meets upscale.

Loved everything about our time tonight!! Abby was our server she was a complete joy!! Abby was attentive and she clearly loved her job!! I loved my dinner I had the sea bass, it was amazing!

The place is so cute and what a view!!! We started our meal with complimentary corn bread…. Yummy! They were hot, moist and oh so good!! We then had their amazing conch fritters. Delicious!!! We went for brunch so I had the mimosa flight… so good! My favorite was the peach one. I had the chicken and biscuits! What can I say…. Just what I expected and more! My husband had the shrimp and grits and he said they were one of his favorites. You must go!!

Fabulous meal for myself & family. We had the fillets & blackened grouper & they were outstanding. The Josh Cab was perfectly paired with the delicious fillets. The service was outstanding as well. Don’t miss this gem on the inter coastal with beautiful sunsets !!

Food is always delicious. We sampled the meatball and garlic knot appetizers. Meatballs were excellent. Knots were slightly overdone but still tasty. We had the chicken parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana entrees and they were both delicious. Cocktails and wine were great and our server was so pleasant and helpful. Nonna’s is a great choice for dinner.
