Dining at the Lodge is always a special treat for us. As we are Sea Ranchers it feels like home when we dine. Thank you for a lovely Christmas Eve dinner!

Walked around the cozy, picturesque town of Healdsburg prior to our reservation. When we walked in the front door, they greeted up by name, took our coats and offered a delicious warm tea from the kitchen window. We next walked into the dining room and felt like we’d stepped into a beautiful restaurant in Japan. The table was already decorated and prepared with the first bites, arranged on miniature rock garden. Each dish, each course was fantastic. From the immaculate presentation, to the ingredients, the taste. It was amazing. Would recommend to anyone. And only when we were leaving, did I find out that it’s also a hotel, where you can stay in Healdsburg, not only for their dinner rezzies but also for breakfast delivered to your room. I’d totally forgotten about that part. It was all amazing.

We went with friends for a special occasion and had a wonderful experience. First time at Bay View restaurant. Our dinners were outstanding!!! I had the coq au vin, one person ordered the cedar planked salmon and two ordered the braised short ribs. The portions are generous and the presentation is really beautiful. The oysters appetizer plate was presented beautifully too. The service was wonderful- very pleasant, attentive but not hovering. The space is lovely- fireplace, white linen cloths, a rose on each table, nice lighting. And a full bar. We were really glad we’d decided to go here for this special holiday get-together and will definitely be back. This gem needs to be supported!!! Don’t miss the gingerbread Bodega display created by the very talented chef.

Our experience at MacCallum House was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. My husband and I had a long day of travel and this was the perfect first meal in Mendocino. We will definitely be back.
