    I appreciate the warm bread offered before the meal but as I am not a fan of sour dough bread, it would be nice to have a second choice available. I always get the 7 oz fillet without bacon and it has been delicious every time. I have never been disappointed to the point I will not try any other menu dinner items. Carolyn

    Delicious food with generous portions. The mussels are the best I've ever had and same for the risotto. The U.D. burger pattie was a bit too salty. Other than that, a perfect night out. Service was incredible. Staff ensures you will feel like the most important people ever.

    This evening was our first time at The Standard. We have been fairly regular patrons of this ownership's other incredible outlets, Undefined & Hambrgr. Although our first time at the newest offering in Downtown Hamilton, it certainly won't be our last! An excellent & varied menu, curated wine list, craft cocktails, and a wide selection of well known & unique beers are all delivered with second to none service! We decided on the roasted mushroom parfait & chili crunch calamari to start. For mains we had the braised beef short rib & the 16oz rib eye pepper steak. The food couldn't have been better. Thank you for a lovely evening, we look forward to visiting again very soon.
