Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. Excellent as usual! Our waiter was very attentive, sorry that I forgot his name. I go here when I’m in town visiting my college kids. The food is always delicious.

We love North Fork. The food and cocktails are always incredible. Service was a little rough, but our server did appear to be incredibly busy, and it was nice to see the bartender jump in to help him get our drinks to us. We will definitely be back.

Look, Ruth Chris’s and Morton’s prices. Well worth it in my opinion. Sure wish the customers dressed better. Reverse ball caps, tees shirts, this isn’t Outback. Steaks excellent, sides and salads excellent and beignets a nice touch for dessert. Chris, my server for the evening, is outstanding. Customers, leave the baseball caps at home. This is a classy place.
