The brasserie, originally designed by the acclaimed Martin Brudnizki, showcases elegant 1920s Art Deco interiors that include rich wood panelling, brass fixtures and a vintage station clock. The menu is inspired by the warmth and elegance of the grand railway station restaurants of Paris, such as Le Train Bleu at Gare de Lyon and Café de la Paix at Gare Saint-Lazare. Highlights include Escargot de Bourgogne with garlic and parsley butter, French onion soup with Gruyère croutons and Saucisse de Morteau aux lentilles. Fantastic food and service. Second visit with university friends for a catch up. There is no time slots so we weren’t kicked out after two hours which so many restaurants do and we’re not hassled to leave. The food was superb, highly recommend the baked Alaska, chicken schnitzel and eggs Benedict. The serving team were polite and friendly. The food was also great value for money. 5 star highly recommended
