After a two-year closure, Original Joe's, San Francisco’s quintessential Italian-American dining destination, revitalized iconic Daly City institution Joe’s of Westlake, and reintroduced it into the community as Original Joe’s Westlake. An anchor of Daly City from 1956 to 2014, Original Joe’s Westlake underwent an extensive two-year renovation, complete with a front-to-back interior remodel, including the kitchen and all dining spaces, and an exterior and landscaping overhaul. Following the Original Joe’s tradition, Westlake continues to prepare unpretentious, old-school Italian-American fare in an open kitchen for all to see. The menu is carefully crafted to reflect a past-meets-present hybrid of what Joe’s of Westlake used to be and what Original Joe’s Westlake is today.

Situated inside the Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, Moonraker serves lunch, dinner and happy hour!A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, Chef's selection of oysters and ahi poke.     Been a customer here for over 50 years. Nott hensame owners but original Joes in SF knows their clients. They improved the ambiance at Westlake Joe's but the food remains the star. Burgers on the sourdough, stellar. Wish the fries were still steak cut though. Salads were yummy and ample in size. Just go and enjoy the Italian we grew up with in the SF Beach area.

    As always, the location had plenty of parking and wasn't too crowded. We made Priority reservations, in advance, through OpenTable. We were seated within 2-3 minutes upon arrival for dinner. Our meal consisted of the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, 1lb snow crab, salmon dinner, and I had the Lobster Punch for my cocktail. Everything came out hot and appealing to eat. Our server was a little more attentive with others than to my Mother and I, but other staff stepped in when necessary.
