We are happy to welcome dogs into our bar area. The restaurant does not allow dogs except for service dogs. Please make us aware of any dogs you have with you upon booking. Please note, we only serve food in the Bar from 12-6 Monday to Saturdays (excluding Sundays when we exclusively serve food in our restaurant). On Sundays we exclusively serve our 4 Course Sunday Roast Menu and our set menu is available Monday-Thursday in our restaurant.The Tartar Frigate is one of the only 18th century flint restaurants in Kent.     Really lovely. Lots of different choices on the menu, all beautifully executed. Very friendly team working on the restaurant and a great location looking over the beach at Broadstairs.

    I took my husband here for his birthday. And he absolutely loved it. Omg the amount of food we ate was unbelievable. It was all incredible. Every bit of that food was spot on there was nothing bad to say about it at all. The service was great the staff were very friendly. Make sure you get some burnt ends and lots of that stunning gravy . I will give this place ***** 5stars. We will return maybe for a Sunday roast. Nom nom nom

    This is an amazing find on our doorstep! It was my partners birthday today and I bought him and his dad for lunch. The service was very personal, and the staff catered for each of our needs beautifully! The food was absolutely outstanding, presented in a wonderful way. The ambience was second to none! Quiet, not rushed, and not all packed into a busy restaurant! Totally and utterly 1 million per cent all round, do not hesitate, just book! You will not be disappointed!
