White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. I am concerned that my credit card was not charged for the total amount including the tip. I called and was told the tip would be charged to my card in several days. That does not seem appropriate.

This place is absolutely the best. The people who work there are so incredibly nice and talented. The food is phenomenal. It is BYOB and some individuals (my friends) may have brought one to many bottles :) I can not say enough about how good this restaurant is in Kennett. If I could give a higher rating I would!

All the food was excellent! From the Roasted artichoke appetizer to everyone’s entrees (Browned linguine with scallops and shrimp, Chilean Seabass, spinach and mushroom ravioli’s and Shrimp Scampi).
