Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995.     Probably one of the best filets I've had in my life I had at the Chophouse last night! It was cooked to perfection and super tender. On top of this, the ambiance of the Chophouse was great - very warm and cozy - and the server was super nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend the chophouse to anyone wanting a superb dining experience!

    Duners had been suggested to us by someone at one of the Charlottesville inns. I'm so glad we took her up on that! The restaurant reminded us of some of the Napa Valley restaurants we have frequented on our California days. Great food, knowledgeable and friendly staff and fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

    A wonderful dinner and evening. Attentive but not intrusive wait staff. We (6 of us) enjoyed the wine paired dinner. The food was superb, compliments to the Chef.

    Fried shrimp was doughy inside, but our servers Kennedy G. was excellent. She was very polite, promp and overall one of the best we've had in a long time! Thank you Kennedy G.
