Our Chef’s take inspiration from Billy Madison who drew a blue duck because he had never seen one before, and he wanted to see a blue duck!     The food is excellent and prices are amazingly inexpensive for whats served. Whats good? Everything I have eaten there. Walleye dishes include preperation other than deep fried. Choices like with wine and garlic sauce, and portions are large. For $23, it's amazing. Most places in Rochester charge 27 to $30 for deep fried. I have eaten there a number of times and it has always been fantastic.

    The food, service and ambience were outstanding at Chester’s. Our entire table enjoyed different walleye dishes and everyone was very happy with their entrees. Desserts were generous and delicious. The restaurant was crowded with large holiday groups but the overall noise level was moderate, snd for once I did not have trouble hearing my table mates conversation. Devin was an efficient and personable server and the manager stopped by our table to ensure we were being taken care of. Outstanding food, great service.
