The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. We had a delicious early dinner. The menu is amazing. They offer a variety of dishes. We ordered surf and turf, the grouper was fresh and the skirt steak was good. The pot roast was amazing!! This dish is served with fresh vegetables, cooked in a delicious sauce and soft mashed potatoes. Our waiter was pleasant and answered our question. Mr. Kwame has a warm smile and a genuine personality.

Food was decent but the burger buns would not stay together to eat. So it became a mess. Also the kids cheeseburger was overcooked almost burnt and very dry and the bun was over toasted and became hard at the edges. The atmosphere was great and it was pretty quiet.
