Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week.     We had reservations, but the place was overcrowded, and we had to wait about an hour and a half to be seated. The entrance was packed, the line was out the door. We had our parents with us who are both 87 yrs old. They had to stand up for the entire wait to be seated. It was Christmas Eve, so that might have been the reason for the excessive wait. After we were seated, our server was prompt, polite, and quick to serve our needs. The only thing is there seemed to be a disarray in the kitchen. Our server went to get us the dinner rolls three times, and they never arrived, so no rolls with our dinner. Our appetizers were served quickly, but there was a very long wait for our dinner. The server was wonderful, and she did apologize several times for the delays. Overall, the food was delicious, and the only thing not so great was all of the waiting. Our entire meal with waiting took us over three and half hour to dine.

    Amazing staff! Beautiful setting. Cozy and fun for cool fall evening….but I can see all seasons being so perfect here. They had live music that was wonderful. Food and drinks delicious! All the stars. Will definitely be back!

    Love the crabs! My children when in visiting want to stop in and our server Charles Snyder was awesome!
