Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. We go to Massimo's monthly, and always love it. Sunny takes care of us each time, the staff is always attentive, and the food is always gourmet. The decor is lovely and intimate. There is no better place for birthdays: the staff always brings you a card and a fantastic dessert with candles. Come during the holidays and before Feb 8, and recieve a red envelope which contains one of a number of prizes like free meal, free drinks, free appetizers for a year, etc. This is our second year of free appetizers monthly, which is just what we wanted, since we want to come once a month: we take turns treating one another.

Very pleasant place for casual dining, with a very extensive menu. Nice that they take reservations too. Service was very good.

Very small and intimate, great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner. Service was great and the specials were mouth watering. Great wine selection. A little expensive but overall excellent.

The new menu has improved the food choices, and the service was the best in years of going. Too bad the band, Cisum, was terrible.
